Graduated from Washington State University with a BA in English, emphasis in Secondary Education in May of 2013 and completed the Teacher certification program for Washington in the fall of 2013.
Experience
I have been an English tutor with tutor.com since July of 2013 but I prefer face to face tutoring, as you can observe so much more about a student when you can see their face. I want to tutor because it is rewarding and exciting to help a student grasp a concept they're struggling with. I have experience that ranges from helping a 2nd grader with her reading to college students with revising their essays. I am very familiar with both Mac and Windows, as I've owned/operated computers using Windows since I was a young child and I've recently left a job in a Mac computer lab. I am also pretty familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite--more specifically, I am familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.
