David C.
Private tutor in Pullman, WA
Education
Sophomore standing 1st year Math Major and German Minor at Washington State University
Experience
Previous experience tutoring high school students, and teaching elementary school german for German honor society Delta Epsilon Phi. 1920 on SAT Ap Scores Calculus BC 5, Chemistry 4, Language 5, Literature 5, US History 4, Government 3, German 4, "Stamp" Language proficiency Exam 4 I want to be a tutor because math is a subject that I think applies to life more than we know. I believe that math skills can open our minds to new ways of thinking and reasoning that benefit us immensely. Often times students that I have met and helped with math are often stuck in the mindset that math is pointless and doesn't have any application, I always hope that I can help to change their minds along with helping them get their grades up. I have taken the equivalent of Calc 1 and 2 in high school and also taken Calculus 3 and finished with an A, have taken German 308 and am currently in Differential Equations at WSU. I currently have a 4.0 GPA I am also an Eagle Scout

Hobbies
Musician: I play Guitar, Piano, Bass, Harmonica, also produce music. I also listen to a lot of indy music and am interested in many modern bands. Electronics: I build and modify tube amps and study electronics in my free time and also restore vintage keyboards. Automotive: I work on restoring cars when I'm home from college and also keep up my 1970 Ford bronco. I love math and, from experience know that it applies to every part of our lives, I use it often in my hobbies such as amp building and circuit design.
